Understanding (समझ) के मुख्य उद्देश्य

गद्य शिक्षण में सबसे पहला और सबसे जरूरी उद्देश्य है कि student को text की basic समझ मिल जाए। मतलब बच्चा यह समझ सके कि writer क्या कहना चाहता है, message क्या है और कहानी या paragraph किस दिशा में बढ़ रहा है।

जब student गद्य को सही तरह से समझ लेता है, तब उसकी language sense भी develop होती है। उसे words का सही meaning, sentence का flow और expression का अंदाज़ आसानी से पकड़ में आता है। यही समझ exam में direct और indirect दोनों तरह के questions को solve करने में बहुत मदद करती है।
